Patan News: The news of a painful road accident has come to the fore from Gujarat. Six people, including four women, were killed when their jeep collided with a stationary truck in Gujarat’s Patan district. This incident happened on Wednesday afternoon. Eight people were injured in this accident.
In this case, Deputy Superintendent of Police KK Pandya told that the driver lost control due to bursting of the tire of the wheel and the jeep collided with a standing truck. He said that there were a total of 15 passengers in the jeep and the incident took place near Radhanpur.
The officer said that the jeep was going to Varahi village. The deceased have been identified as Sanjubhai Phulwadi (50), Kajal Parmar (59), Dudabhai Rathod (50), Radhaben Parmar (35), Amrita Vanzara (15) and Pinalben Vanzara (7).
Pandya said that the injured have been referred to various hospitals in Radhanpur and Patan. He said that if found guilty, an FIR would be lodged against both the drivers under appropriate sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Motor Vehicles Act.
