Patna.“JDU-BJP Struggle Persists in Karpoori Thakur Dispute; BJP Yet to Secure Venue. BJP Declares Plans for Karpuri Jayanti Celebration Outside JDU Office, Sparking Tension over Miller School Grounds.”
The Miller High School grounds in Veerchand Patel, Patna, have become the focal point of the JDU-BJP clash. BJP asserts its booking for January 24, opposing JDU’s claim of reservation for January 23. Presently, JDU workers occupy the grounds, with BJP threatening to move their celebration to the streets if the venue is not vacated.
State President Samrat Chaudhary warns of a road celebration if the reserved ground is not made available. Minister Ashok Choudhary, presenting JDU’s reservation papers, alleges an administration error but refuses to concede the site.Ashok Chaudhary claimed that NOC was received and the Education Department directed District Magistrate Chandrashekhar Singh to vacate the ground and reserve it.
After this, this ground has been allotted to JDU for January 23, hence BJP’s allegation is baseless. Let us tell you that JDU is going to celebrate Karpuri Jayanti on January 24 at the Veterinary College grounds, but it is making arrangements at the Miller High School grounds for the stay of people coming from outside.
On this, RLJD Principal General Secretary Madhav Anand said that Jannayak Karpuri Thakur has always been relevant in the politics of Bihar and all the political parties are claiming that we follow the path shown by him. But, this grand alliance government has worked to ignore Karpoori Thakur. If he had followed the path shown by Karpoori Thakur, then the condition of the exploited and deprived people in Bihar would not have been like this.
