Patna.In a significant development, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar of Bihar unveiled a major announcement during the proceedings in the Legislative Assembly this past Tuesday. The Chief Minister has put forward a proposal to expand the ambit of reservations in the state of Bihar, which currently stands at 50%, to a remarkable 65%.
This ambitious move is intended to push the reservation limit to an impressive 75% by including an additional 10% for the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) within the state. This proposed increase in reservation quotas carries substantial implications for the social and economic landscape of Bihar.
