Patna. The case of YouTuber Manish Kashyap, arrested in the Tamil Nadu fake video case, has dragged on once again. In this matter, a hearing was held in the Supreme Court on Friday. But, Manish Kashyap could not get any relief.
In fact, the Supreme Court had asked the Tamil Nadu government why NSA has been imposed on Manish Kashyap? The Tamil Nadu government has sought more time from the court to respond. Now the next hearing in this matter will be on May 8.
Manish Kashyap’s lawyer AP Singh has demanded removal of bail NSA in the Supreme Court and clubbing all the cases at one place. At the time of the last hearing, the Supreme Court had issued a notice to the Tamil Nadu government.
The Supreme Court has asked why NSA has been imposed on Manish. In fact, an appeal was filed in the Supreme Court demanding clubbing of all the cases registered against Manish Kashyap in Bihar and Tamil Nadu.
This is because the reason behind the whole case is the issue of beating Biharis in Tamil Nadu and making fake videos viral. On behalf of Manish Kashyap’s lawyer AP Singh, a petition was filed in favor of Manish Kashyap on April 5 itself.
Through this petition, a demand was made to consolidate all the cases registered against Manish Kashyap at one place. The hearing on this petition was held on 10th April, on that day the Supreme Court issued notices to the Government of Bihar and Tamil Nadu and asked them to respond.
