Patna. Nitish Kumar government in Bihar has got a big blow from the court. Nitish government’s petition filed in the High Court regarding caste census has been rejected. This petition was filed by the government for early hearing in the court.
Earlier, the counting was stayed by the Patna High Court on May 4. The Bihar government, in its petition, demanded that it be heard soon. On the other hand, the High Court had prohibited that the data collected so far should not be destroyed.
Now according to the already fixed date, the matter will be heard on July 3. At the same time, Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav said that the discussion will be done on the basis of the court’s decision.
Our government is committed to counting. Most of the leaders of the grand alliance government are claiming that the BJP is trying to stop the caste-based calculation.
