Patna. The state government has made a big announcement in Bihar. Now the dependents of those who died after drinking spurious liquor in Bihar will be given a compensation of Rs 4 lakh by the Nitish government.
In fact, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Chandrashekhar Singh, after garlanding his statue in the park located in Kankarbagh, Patna, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar made a big announcement that the dependents of all those who died of spurious liquor in Bihar 4-4 lakh compensation will be given from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
Let us tell you that in 2016, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar implemented the law of prohibition in Bihar, after which many people died due to poisonous liquor. In such a situation, every time there has been a demand from the people that the government should give relief in the prohibition law and compensation should be given to the families of those who have died due to spurious liquor.
Although CM Nitish Kumar has shown strictness on prohibition many times, but after the Motihari incident, the state government has now agreed to pay compensation.
Announcing the death of spurious liquor, the Chief Minister said that since 2016, the families of all those who died due to consumption of spurious liquor would be given a compensation of Rs 4 lakh each.
