PM Modi leaves for UAE after successful visit to France

New Delhi. PM Narendra Modi said goodbye to Paris on Friday. He began the next leg of his visit to Abu Dhabi after a two-day ‘memorable’ visit.

As soon as he boarded the plane, PM Modi thanked French President Emmanuel Macron and the French people for their extraordinary warmth and hospitality.

While flying to Abu Dhabi, PM Modi said that ‘it became even more special because I got the opportunity to participate in the Bastille Day celebrations. It was wonderful to see the Indian contingent taking pride of place in the parade.

During his two-day visit, PM Modi held meetings with various stakeholders in France and both sides took stock of the strategic relationship between the two countries.

During his visit, PM Modi was also awarded the highest civilian and military honor of France- Grand Cross of the Legion of Honour.

The talks between PM Modi and Macron covered various areas of cooperation including defence, clean energy, innovation and cultural exchanges.

With the adoption of the ‘Horizon 2047 Roadmap’, the two countries put forward a shared vision for the future. Whose goal is to take forward our strong relationship and promote a better world together.

PM Modi tweeted that ‘The conversation with my friend, President @EmmanuelMacron was very fruitful. We reviewed the entire gamut of Indo-French relations. I am particularly excited to deepen cooperation in futuristic areas such as green hydrogen, renewable energy, AI, semiconductors and more.
