New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Maharashtra and Goa today and attend several events including the inauguration of the 37th National Games in the coastal state of Goa. PM Modi will launch a scheme aimed at benefiting over 86 lakh farmers in Maharashtra.

PM Modi to visit Saibaba Temple in Shirdi: According to an official statement, PM Modi will begin his tour by offering prayers at the Shri Saibaba Temple in Shirdi, Maharashtra and inaugurate its new “Darshan Kat Complex”.
PM Modi will perform “Jal Pujan” of the Nilwande Dam and dedicate a canal network of the dam to the nation, followed by unveiling several development projects worth about Rs 7,500 crore in sectors like health, rail, roads and oil and gas at a public event in Shirdi. Will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone.
The new “Darshan Qatar Complex” in Shirdi, the foundation stone of which was laid by PM Modi in October 2018, is a state-of-the-art modern mega building, the official statement said. Its purpose is to provide a comfortable waiting area for devotees.
After this, PM Modi will dedicate to the nation the 85 km long canal network on the left bank of Nilwande Dam in Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra. An official statement said that this will benefit 182 villages in seven tehsils with the facility of water pipe distribution network.
