New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Jaipur today for a three-day visit, during which he will attend the Director General-Inspector General of Police conference. Additionally, he is slated to visit the state headquarters of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Jaipur on the same day.
As per the official schedule, Prime Minister Modi will participate in the All India Conference of Directors General/Inspectors General of Police, taking place at the Rajasthan International Center in Jaipur from January 6 to 7.According to the official statement, in the three-day conference to be held from January 5 to 7, 2024, issues like cyber crime, technology in policing, anti-terrorism challenges, left-wing extremism, prison reforms and internal security will be discussed in detail.
Another major agenda of the conference is to deliberate on the road map for implementation of the new criminal laws. Apart from this, future topics in policing and security like challenges posed by new technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Deepfakes and ways to deal with them will also be discussed.
This conference is the culmination of extensive deliberations among district, state and national level police and intelligence officers on identified topics. Best practices of States/UTs under each theme will be presented in the conference so that States can learn from each other.BJP state president CP Joshi said that Prime Minister Modi will come to the BJP office tomorrow evening. He will talk to the workers.
There is tremendous enthusiasm among party workers regarding PM Modi’s program. This will be Modi’s first visit to the state office of BJP after becoming Prime Minister.
