New Delhi: PM Modi has reached Pithoragarh today on a one-day visit to Uttarakhand, where CM Dhami welcomed him. The Prime Minister will offer prayers at Parvati Kund and Jageshwar Dham here and will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of development projects worth about Rs 4,200 crore in Pithoragarh.
PM Modi has posted about his visit on social media site X. He wrote, ‘Our government is committed to the welfare of the people of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand and the rapid development of the state.
To give further impetus to this, I will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of many projects in Pithoragarh. There will also be an opportunity to interact with the people in Gunji village here. During this tour, we are also eagerly waiting for darshan and worship at Parvati Kund and Jageshwar Dham of spiritual importance.
Regarding PM Modi’s arrival, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami tweeted, ‘Respected Prime Minister, on behalf of all the people of the state, I welcome and congratulate you on your arrival in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand.
