PM Modi pays tribute to Sardar Patel on his birth anniversary

Gujarat: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a 2-day visit to Gujarat. Today PM Modi is going to participate in the National Unity Day program in Kevadiya. PM Modi will pay tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

The Prime Minister is going to watch the National Unity Day Parade, in which various contingents of Border Security Force and State Police are participating. The Prime Minister is going to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of several development projects worth Rs 160 crore in Kevadiya.

PM Modi on Monday inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of various projects related to rail, road, drinking water and irrigation worth about Rs 5800 crore in Mehsana.

The projects that will be inaugurated include heritage train from Ekta Nagar to Ahmedabad, project for Narmada Aarti Live, Kamalam Park, a walkway within the Statue of Unity complex, 30 new e-buses, 210 e-cycles and several golf carts. Projects include City Gas Distribution Network in Ekta Nagar and ‘Sahkar Bhawan’ of Gujarat State Cooperative Bank.

Apart from this, Prime Minister Modi will also lay the foundation stone of a trauma center and a sub-district hospital with a solar panel in Kevadiya. Prime Minister Modi will address the officer trainees of the 98th Common Foundation Course at the conclusion of Aarambh 5.0.
