New Delhi. During his address to the nation on the occasion of 77th Independence Day on Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi while enumerating the work of his government on one hand, did not miss to target the opposition.
PM Modi appealed to the country to fight against 3 evils. He said that we have to fight unitedly against corruption, familyism and appeasement. These are such things, which raise a question mark on the aspirations of the people of our country.
From the ramparts of the Red Fort, PM Narendra Modi said, ‘My dear family members, this is the commitment of Modi’s life. It is my personal commitment that I will continue to fight against corruption.
Familyism has uprooted our country. The way this dynasticism has held the country tight, it has taken away the rights of the people of the country. Referring to dynasticism in politics, Prime Minister Modi said that it has looted and destroyed the country.
Describing appeasement as the ‘third evil’, PM Modi said that it has tainted and destroyed the country’s basic thinking and all-embracing national character.
Without naming any political party, he said, ‘These people have done a lot of damage to the country. We have to fight against all these three evils with all our might. Corruption, familyism, appeasement suppress the aspirations of the people of the country.
