PM Modi reaches Kaziranga National Park in Assam, goes on jungle safari

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a two-day visit to Assam from March 8. During this, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of projects costing Rs 18 thousand crores. Today he did a jungle safari in Kaziranga National Park. Let us tell you that PM Modi stayed in Kaziranga National Park on the evening of March 8.

PM Modi will stay here for about two hours. After this he will leave for Arunachal Pradesh, where he will participate in two programs. He will return to Jorhat in the afternoon and inaugurate the ‘Statue of Bravery’, a 125-foot tall statue of the great Ahom commander Lachit Borphukan.

Officials said Modi will then visit Meleng Meteli Pothar, where he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of central and state projects worth about Rs 18,000 crore.The Prime Minister will also address the public meeting and after that he will leave for West Bengal. Let us tell you that Prime Minister Modi visited Assam on February 4 and started infrastructure projects worth Rs 11,600 crore.

It is noteworthy that earlier the Prime Minister had covered about 15 kilometers by road from Panbari Helipad to the Police Guest House near the Central Kohora Range in Kaziranga National Park. There were queues of people on the way to the guest house and Modi stood on the footboard of his vehicle and greeted them.

During this, traditional Bihu and other folk songs and dances were presented on the way, and PM Modi praised them by making a post on the social media platform ‘X’. While sharing pictures of the presentations, the Prime Minister wrote on ‘X’, ‘A very special welcome took place in Golaghat district of Assam. Got a glimpse of the diverse and beautiful culture of Assam.
