G20 Summit: PM Modi wrote a blog regarding G-20 Summit

New Delhi: Months of excitement and preparation are at their peak for the G20 summit to be held in Delhi from 8 to 10 September. Guests from all over the world will start coming from this evening itself and for these three days the whole world will see a glimpse of India from Delhi.

Meanwhile, just a day before the G20 summit, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has written a blog on his website, titled – ‘Human-centric globalization: We have to take the G20 to the ends of the world, leaving no one behind. Is’.

‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ – These two words of our Indian culture contain a deep philosophical idea. It means, ‘The whole world is one family.’ It is a universal vision that encourages us to progress as one universal family.

A family that has no boundaries, language and ideology. During India’s presidency of the G-20, this idea has manifested itself as a call for human-centred progress.

We, as One Earth, are coming together to improve human life. We are becoming each other’s ally for development as One Family and for One Future we are moving forward together towards a shared bright future.

The world order after the Corona global pandemic is very different from the world before it. Among many other things, there have been three important changes. First, there is a growing realization that there is a need to move away from a GDP-centric view of the world towards a human-centric view.

Second, the world is recognizing the importance of strength and reliability in global supply chains. Third, there is a collective call to promote multilateralism through reform of global institutions. Our presidency of the G-20 has played a catalytic role in these changes.

When we took over the presidency from Indonesia in December 2022, I had written that the G-20 should become the vehicle of a radical change in mentality. There is a special need for bringing the marginalized aspirations of developing countries, countries of the Global South and African countries into the mainstream.
