Ahmedabad. President Draupadi Murmu will launch the ‘Ayushman Bhava’ initiative of the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare today through video conference from Raj Bhavan.
‘Ayushman Bhava’ is a nationwide initiative, which aims to provide widespread access to health services to every village and town in the country. This initiative has been started in view of the success of ‘Ayushman Bharat’ programme.
This campaign will be implemented from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday i.e. 17th September. Under this campaign, Ayushman fairs will be organized at all the health and welfare centers associated with the Ayushman scheme from 17th September to 2nd October.
In this, free treatment will be provided to the poor as well as the middle class people. Cards will be made immediately for eligible people. Camps will be organized in medical colleges and blocks of all the districts of the country.
In fact, Ayushman Bhava campaign is a comprehensive nationwide health care initiative, the aim of which is to provide health services to every village and town of the country.
Last Tuesday, Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya told in a press conference that this nationwide program will be implemented during Seva Pakhwada.
