Pune: A surprising case has come to light from Pune in Maharashtra. On Tuesday, in Daund tehsil of Pune district, a doctor first killed his entire family and then hanged himself.
This incident took place in Varvand area. According to the police, the 42-year-old veterinarian allegedly killed his wife and two children before committing suicide.
According to news agency PTI, the deceased were identified as Dr Atul Diwekar (42), Pallavi Diwekar (39) and their children Advait (9) and Vedanti (6).
According to preliminary information, Dr. Diwekar allegedly first strangled his wife at home and then threw the children into a well near his house. Police said that later he returned home and hanged himself.
After getting information about the incident, the police reached the spot and took the dead bodies into custody and sent them for postmortem.
