Chandigarh: Punjab Vigilance team is conducting raids in 6 states in search of BJP leader and former Finance Minister of Punjab Manpreet Badal. The team has reached Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi, Uttarakhand and Rajasthan for raids.
In fact, on Tuesday itself, a court had issued an arrest warrant against Manpreet Singh Badal in the case of alleged irregularities in the purchase of a property in Bathinda district of Punjab.
Let us tell you that the court order has come after Punjab Vigilance Bureau issued a lookout circular against Manpreet Singh Badal. Vigilance suspects that Manpri may later leave the country and go abroad.
