New Delhi. Russian President Vladimir Putin has once again praised PM Modi. During the 8th Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) held in Russia, Putin, while talking to businessmen associated with his automobile sector, said that they should learn from PM Modi’s Make in India program.
Vladimir Putin said that India has already set an example through its policies under the leadership of PM Modi. After waging war against Ukraine, Western countries have imposed many sanctions on Russia.
This is the reason why Russia’s economy is in ruins at present. In such a situation, Vladimir Putin is teaching the industry to make the country self-reliant on the lines of PM Modi.
Vladimir Putin said, ‘You know, then we did not have domestically manufactured cars, but now we have them. It’s true that they look more modest than the Mercedes or Audi cars that we bought in large quantities in the 1990s, but that’s not an issue.
I think we should follow many of our partners, for example, India. They are focusing on manufacturing and using Indian made vehicles. I think Prime Minister Modi is doing the right thing in promoting the Make in India programme.
