Rajasthan news: Accident while making video for Instagram in Churu, 4 youths died due to drowning in Johad

Churu. In Ramsara village of Churu district of Rajasthan, four youths died due to drowning in Johad while making a video of bathing live on Instagram on Sunday. On getting information about the incident, a crowd of villagers gathered on the spot. With the help of the administration, the villagers launched a rescue operation and after about three hours of effort, the villagers took out the dead bodies of the youth.

 DSP Rajendra Burdak told that four youths of Ramsara village had come down to bathe in Johad. During this, 21-year-old Suresh was walking in the forefront, who said that he would cross the Johad from the middle, but he started drowning due to loss of balance in the middle of the water.

 In an attempt to save Suresh, the three companions went into deep water and could not come up. Suresh Nayak, 21, Yogesh Regar, 18, Lokesh Nimel, 18, and Kabir Singh, 18, residents of Ramsara, died due to drowning.By late evening Ramsara residents Jeetu Prajapat, Umar Prajapat, Ranjit Kadwasara, Tarachand Prajapat, Subhash, Omprakash Nai and Pyarelal took out the dead bodies of the four youths one after the other after three hours of hard work.

Monu, a young man present at the spot, told that on Sunday afternoon, Lokesh had called him to take a bath in the Johad, but he refused to take a bath. On this, the youth told him to make the video of his bath live. Then suddenly Suresh started drowning, Monu got scared and informed the family of the young man about this. On getting the information, the villagers and the relatives of the youth reached the spot.

On getting information about the incident here, along with BJP leader Harlal Saharan, Tehsildar Dhiraj Jhajhadia, CO City Rajendra Burdak, Police Station Officer Ratannagar Jasveer along with Sadar and Ratannagar’s police team reached the spot. Accusing the administration of negligence, BJP leader Harlal Saharan said that the administration does not have any resources for rescue in such accidents. The 108 ambulance also arrived late by an hour, on which the dead bodies were taken to the hospital by pickup. Along with this, the four dead bodies were also taken out by the villagers.
