Ranchi. A big news has come out from Ranchi’s Khelgaon. Athlete Anjali Oraon died in Khelgaon on Sunday evening. She was a resident of Lohardaga in Jharkhand. Anjali’s health deteriorated on Saturday.
After Anjali’s death, the anger of the trainee players erupted. After dusk, suddenly many cadets living in the Khelgaon hostel came out on the streets and started demonstrating in the campus. All these cadets are blaming the negligence of the sports village management for the death of their fellow athlete Anjali Oraon.
However, the Khelgaon management is preparing to send the cadet back to the hostel after convincing them. Let us tell you that cadets are taking training in sports related to archery, cycling, football wrestling, boxing and other sports in the Khelgaon hostel.
All these cadets are selected from many districts of the state and reach the sports village for training. Athlete Anjali Oraon died on Sunday morning after her health deteriorated, after which the anger of fellow trainee players has erupted.
After the postmortem of the dead body in RIMS, the dead body was sent to Anjali’s house in Lohardaga. JSSPS officer Ajay Mukul Toppo also went to Lohardaga along with the family members regarding the dead body. On Sunday evening, Anjali Oraon was cremated by her relatives in Lohardaga.
During this, officials associated with the management of the Games Village were also present there. Anjali Oraon was an athlete trainee of the 2018-18 batch at JSSPS. Anjali’s mother has already passed away. His family consists of his father and six siblings.
