Lalu Yadav’s troubles may increase again in Deoghar treasury case

Ranchi. RJD National President Lalu Prasad’s troubles seem to be increasing once again. Hearing is going on in Jharkhand High Court regarding the demand of increasing the sentence of Lalu Prasad, who has been convicted in the case of illegal withdrawal from Deoghar treasury.

The hearing on the petition filed by CBI was held on Wednesday. During the hearing, the court heard the side of CBI and the defendants, after which the next date of hearing of the case has been fixed for the second week of December.

Let us tell you that Lalu Prasad has got bail from Jharkhand High Court in all the cases of fodder scam. But, now once again the case of Deoghar treasury seems to be roaming behind Lalu Prasad like a genie.

A petition was filed in the Jharkhand High Court on behalf of the CBI demanding increase in the sentence of Lalu Prasad in the Deoghar treasury case.

In this petition on behalf of CBI, it has been said that Lalu Prasad has been sentenced to only 3 and a half years in the Deoghar case. Whereas he should have been given a maximum sentence of 7 years.

Let us tell you that in the Deoghar case, a total of six people including Lalu Prasad Beck Julius have been sentenced to 3 years to 6 years. In the petition filed by CBI, it has been said that considering Lalu Prasad’s involvement, he should get a maximum punishment of 7 years.
