Ranchi. Jharkhand Police is taking special precautions regarding the Ram Navami festival, especially the police is keeping an eye on the routes from where the Shobha Yatra is to be taken out.
Mapping of the entire area is being done regarding this so that it can be dealt with before any emergency. Drones have been specially hired for this so that the mapping can be completed.
Anoop Birthare, DIG of South Chotanagpur zone said that last year there were riots in Ranchi and Lohardaga in South Chotanagpur zone, due to which special attention is being given this year so that no emergency situation arises this year.
Be it the June 10 violence or the Lohardaga riots or the recent riots at Palamu in Panki, stones have been used everywhere. During this, the matter of placing stones on the roofs also came to the fore, regarding which the police administration is not in the mood to take any laxity this time.
