New Delhi: Rannvijay Singha, who has been synonymous with Roadies, has finally quit the show after being associated with it for 18 years. The popular television host is currently seen on Shark Tank India. Roadies Season 19 has been taken over by a new production house, which led to Rannvijay taking this decision. However, Singha says that there were no issues with the production house, and the channel has been a ‘key pillar’ of his journey.

RANNVIJAY QUITS ROADIES AFTER 18 YEARS’ ASSOCIATION

Rannvijay Singha is currently hosting popular business reality show Shark Tank India. However, after the show ends this week, fans won’t be seeing him in Roadies 19. Rannvijya, who began his TV journey as a contestant on Roadies Season 1, has been a host and then a mentor on the show.

Rannvijay Singha spoke to media and confirmed that he will long be a part of Roadies. He said, “The channel has been a key pillar of my journey and I’ll be doing interesting work with them. On this edition of Roadies, things didn’t work out from both sides. Our dates were not matching and it is disheartening,” he shares.

He further added, “I’ve been working with the channel for 18 years. I’ve done different shows with the network. Production house aur mera koi taal mel hai nahi.”

According to the publication, Sonu Sood will be the new host of the show, and there will also be a subsequent change in the show’s format. Apparently, Sood will be the only mentor-host this year and the face of the edition, as the concept of gang leaders has been dropped by the makers, which also means that Neha Dhupia, Prince Narula, and others might also not appear on the show.

The upcoming season of Roadies will be shot in South Africa and will go on floors from February 14.
