New Delhi: Realme 9 Pro series launch date in India has been revealed by the company on Twitter. The teaser image shows the Realme 9 Pro and Realme 9 Pro+ will launch on February 16. There’s also an image of the Realme 9 Pro+, with triple cameras and an LED flash. There’s a dedicated microsite on the Realme website that reveals some key Realme 9 Pro series specifications, including chipset, cameras and more. Like the Vivo V23 Pro, the Realme 9 Pro series will also arrive with a ‘light shift design’ that changes colour when exposed to light.

Realme has announced that its event on February 16 will begin at 1.30 pm. It will be a virtual event, and everyone can watch it via live streams on YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook. Realme will announce the specifications, price, and availability of the 9 Pro series at the event.
Realme 9 Pro series price
Although the official price is something Realme will out at the event later this month, a recent leak revealed what the 9 Pro+ and 9 Pro will cost in India. While the 9 Pro+ may start at around Rs 20,999, the 9 Pro may come with a starting price of Rs 16,999.

Realme 9 Pro+: The dedicated microsite confirms the Realme 9 Pro+ will come with a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor with OIS, EIS, and a large 1/1.56 sensor that captures 63.8 percent more light. There’s AI Noise Reduction 3.0 which is claimed to reduce noise to make photos more crisp and detailed and Street Photography 2.0 for those long exposure shots. The Realme 9 Pro+ will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor paired with Mali G68 GPU for games. The company had already confirmed the Realme 9 Pro+ would come with a heart rate sensor.
Other rumoured specifications include a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is likely to arrive with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage that could be further expandable via a microSD card. The phone will have an in-display fingerprint sensor for security and pack a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. It could have a 16MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats.
Realme 9 Pro: On the other hand, the Realme 9 Pro is said to sport a 6.59-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. It could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage that is expandable. It could have a triple camera layout, with a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens. There is a 16MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. A 5,000mAh battery with a 33W fast charging support is tipped to fuel the phone.
