Kolkata. Investigating officers of West Bengal CID claimed that the conspiracy to murder Bangladesh MP Anwarul Azim Anar was hatched at least four to five months ago. This murder starts with a phone call from a girl. The girl calls a very powerful political figure. This girl calls the Bangladeshi MP to her flat in her charming and sweet voice.
Bangladeshi MPs get so caught up in the attraction that they reach Kolkata directly from Dhaka. But when he reaches the flat, he encounters a beautiful woman and a butcher. A butcher who made mincemeat of the dead body of an MP.MP Azim Anar had reached Kolkata city of India for treatment on 12 May. Here he was staying at his friend Gopal Biswas’s house in Baranagar.
Then on May 14, he came out of the house telling Biswas that he would return by evening after meeting the doctor. Anwarul then took a taxi. In the evening he sent a WhatsApp message to his friend informing him that he was going to Delhi. He went missing since then .A dispute related to gold smuggling is said to be the reason behind the murder.
According to the Detective Branch of Bangladesh Police, Akhtaruzzaman is the mastermind of the murder of Anwarul Azim Anar. It is being told that Shaheen is an American citizen of Bangladeshi origin and works in gold smuggling. Akhtaruzzaman Shaheen went to America but he continued to visit Bangladesh and India. During this time he got involved in illegal businesses.
A West Bengal CID official claimed that a conspiracy ranging from involving a butcher in the crime in Dhaka to luring him in a ‘honeytrap’ and taking the politician to Kolkata in the name of treatment was hatched in the capital of Bangladesh in January. He claimed that an American citizen and a close friend of Anar had probably visited Dhaka several times.
He had used platforms like ‘FaceTime’ and ‘Telegram Messenger’ to keep in touch with his associates to plot the murder of the MP. The officer claimed that it appeared that the butcher was brought to India ‘illegally’ to help commit the crime.
