Mukesh Ambani received death threat through email, Mumbai Police registered FIR

Mumbai. Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani has received death threats through email. According to Mumbai Police, the sender of the email threatened to shoot Mukesh Ambani if he did not pay Rs 20 crore. The industrialist received this email at 8:51 pm on Friday.

In this case, Mumbai Police has registered an FIR against an unknown person. Mumbai Police issued a statement saying that ‘the email regarding the threat was received on Friday, October 27. Immediately after the matter came to light, a case was registered under sections 387 and 506 (2) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at Gamdevi Police Station in Mumbai.

Investigation is going on in the matter. According to which it was written in the threatening email, ‘If Rs 20 crore is not received, we will kill you. We have the best shooters in India.’ No arrest has been made in the case so far.

Police said that further investigation is going on. It is noteworthy that the quarterly results of Reliance Industries Limited were announced on Friday. According to which, the net profit of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) in the second quarter of the current financial year was Rs 17,394 crore with a jump of 27 percent.

The company said there was a jump in earnings from the oil and gas business and growth in the fashion-lifestyle segment as well as grocery and e-commerce.
