The Meteorological Department has said that there will be heavy rains in Delhi-NCR for 2 days. During this, strong winds will also blow, due to which people will get relief from the heat.
According to the Meteorological Department, there may be light rain in many areas of Delhi-NCR today i.e. on June 24 (Delhi NCR Rain Alert). During this, the maximum temperature can be 39 degree Celsius and the minimum can be 29 degree.
On the other hand, there may be heavy rains in Delhi-NCR on 5 and 26 June. Due to this rain, the maximum temperature can come down to 34 degree Celsius. Haryana, Punjab, Western UP and Chandigarh are also expected to receive heavy rains on June 25. Due to this rain, the temperature can come down below 40 degree Celsius.
According to private weather agency Skymet, today light rain is possible in the rest of the country except western Rajasthan and Saurashtra and Kutch. Light to moderate rains may occur over Northeast India, Uttar Pradesh and foothills of Bihar, Coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Light to moderate rainfall with isolated heavy falls is possible over parts of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Telangana, Konkan & Goa, Coastal Karnataka, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Odisha.
