An explosion-like sound was heard at the spot and smoke filled the area. Showing readiness, the security officials rescued Prime Minister Fumio Kishida safely from the spot.
The news of relief is that the Japanese PM has not been hurt. Following the incident, security officials have detained a suspect from western Wakayama.A loud explosion rocked the area where Prime Minister Fumio Kishida was giving a speech. According to the report, Fumio Kishida was starting his speech after visiting a fishing port in the western Japanese city of Wakayama when the incident happened. The police deployed on the spot have also arrested a suspect.
