New Delhi:The audacity of Khalistani organizations in Canada is growing, as pro-Khalistan groups reportedly attacked Hindus during Diwali celebrations in Brompton Borough, Quebec. Allegedly carrying Khalistan flags, these groups threw stones at Diwali celebrants and exhibited disrespectful behavior towards the Indian community.
Sources indicate that the police did not intervene against the stone-pelting individuals.According to sources, police personnel described it as an “internal community fight” between Hindus and Sikhs. An Indian government official said, “The Trudeau administration is a mute spectator to every wrongdoing of the Khalistanis. Attacking Hindus during festivals is really shocking. We will take up this matter through official channels.”
Let us tell you that on June 18 in British Columbia, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had alleged that Indian agents were possibly involved in the murder of Hardeep Singh Nijjar. After which the relations between the two countries continued to deteriorate.
India had declared Nijjar a terrorist in 2020. India rejected Trudeau’s allegations as “absurd” and “motivated”.In his latest comments last week, Trudeau said his government had contacted India and asked them to work together to get to the bottom of the matter.
He said, “From the very beginning when we became aware of credible allegations that Indian government agents were involved in the murder of a Canadian citizen on Canadian soil, we contacted India and asked them to get to the bottom of this matter.” Asked to work with us.
