Team India created history in Rajkot, recorded the biggest win in Test cricket.

New Delhi. After the brilliance of Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill and Sarfaraz Khan, India defeated England by 434 runs in the third test match on the strength of its bowlers. This is Team India’s biggest win in terms of runs in Test cricket.

The England team, which came to chase the target of 557 runs set by India, collapsed for 122 runs. In the second innings of the third test match of the series played at Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot, Yashasvi Jaiswal scored a record-breaking double century while Shubman Gill missed the century by 9 runs.

Sarfaraz Khan also played a brilliant innings. Ravindra Jadeja took 5 wickets in the second innings. Earlier, Team India’s biggest win was 372 runs which it achieved against New Zealand at Wankhede in 2021. With this victory, India has taken a 2-1 lead in the 5-match series.

Young opener Yashasvi Jaiswal scored unbeaten 214 runs in the second innings with the help of 14 fours and 12 sixes on 236 balls, while Shubman Gill was out after scoring 91 runs on 151 balls. Sarfaraz Khan scored unbeaten 68 runs on 72 balls.

Team India, which scored 445 runs in the first innings, declared its second innings at 430 runs for 4 wickets. England scored 319 runs in the first innings. The Indian team, which had a lead of 126 runs in the first innings, had given a target of 557 runs to the visiting England.
