Sagar Dhankar Murder Case: Olympian Sushil Kumar gets interim bail from Delhi court, will attend father’s funeral

New Delhi. A Delhi court has granted interim bail to Olympian Sushil Kumar in connection with the murder of junior wrestler Sagar Dhankhar. Rohini court has given interim bail of 4 days to wrestler Sushil Kumar to perform the last rites of his father.

Please tell that the court has decided to grant final bail on humanitarian grounds. The court granted interim bail to Sushil Kumar on an amount of Rs 1 lakh and two sureties of the same amount. It is known that Olympic medalist wrestler Sushil Kumar is in judicial custody from 2 June 2021.

 
The court, while granting bail, said that keeping in view the fact that the father of the accused had passed away and his last rites were to be performed, on humanitarian grounds, the accused was released on interim bail only on a personal bond from March 6 to March 9.Will be done.

 
Last year, a Delhi court had framed charges against Olympian Sushil Kumar and 17 others under various sections in the Sagar Dhankhar murder case.Please tell that on 4 May 2021, a wrestler named Sagar Dhankhar, a resident of Sonepat, was beaten to death at Chhatrasal Stadium in Delhi.

A video of this entire matter also went viral on social media. After this Delhi Police arrested wrestler Sushil Kumar and some of his associates.
