New Delhi. A painful news has come out from Delhi. This is also a case of murder after bitterness in love. Found in a refrigerator at a ‘dhaba’ on the outskirts of Mitraon village in south-west Delhi.
Initial inquiry in the matter revealed that Sahil’s marriage was on 10th February. Sahil’s girlfriend Nikki Yadav was opposing it. According to the police, both were roaming in a car in Delhi on 9 February. Sahil strangulated Nikki Yadav with the data cable of his mobile phone after an argument broke out over Gehlot’s marriage.
Delhi Police sources said that after killing Nikki Yadav in his car near Kashmere Gate, the accused Sahil allowed the body to remain on the front seat. He kept driving for about 40 kilometers and reached his dhaba in Mitraon village.
After this, Sahil kept the dead body in a deep freezer in his dhaba. A police officer said that after hiding the body, Sahil went to his house and joined the pre-wedding celebrations. However, the police have seized the car of Sahil Gehlot, which was used to commit the crime, from his house.
A day after the murder of Nikki Yadav, her father spoke to Sahil to find out his daughter. Then Sahil lied to them and said that Nikki had gone to Mussoorie and Dehradun with her friends and had left her phone with them. When Sunil Yadav called another friend of his daughter, he told that Nikki was not in her rented room in Bindapur area and she was last seen with Sahil Gehlot.
