Lucknow: ED raid is going on at the house of Samajwadi Party leader and strongman Vinay Shankar Tiwari in the bank loan scam of Rs 1,000 crore. Search operation is going on at dozens of locations in three states including Haryana and UP.
Vinay Shankar Tiwari is the son of former Bahubali leader Harishankar Shankar Tiwari in Uttar Pradesh. The house of ‘Tiwari ji’ situated in Gorakhpur has been converted into a cantonment. According to the information received, a case of default of bank loan worth crores of rupees in the name of Gangotri Enterprises is coming to light.
The raid has been going on for about 3 hours. ED officials have come in about 7 to 8 vehicles. Let us tell you that raids have taken place before this also. Vinay Shankar Tiwari has been the MLA of Chillupar from BSP. Harishankar Tiwari’s elder son Bhishma Shankar Tiwari alias Kushal Tiwari has been MP from Sant Kabir Nagar.
