Chhapra election violence: Internet ban time extended in Saran

Chhapra. There is big news from Chhapra regarding internet ban. The internet ban that has been going on since the Chapra election violence has been further extended. The ban on social media and internet will continue in Saran district and its time period has been extended and now internet service will not be available till 8 pm on 25th May.

Let us tell you that earlier the order was issued till 5 pm. Now a few more hours have been extended in the earlier order.Let us tell you that the Special Branch of the Home Department issued a new order related to this. Internet ban has been extended for the third time in Chhapra. The state government had earlier given instructions to keep the internet service disrupted till 23rd May only, after which it was extended till 5 pm on 25th May and now this new order has been issued.

Although people are worried about this, the government has decided not to take any kind of risk.In the report given by the Home Department, it is feared that in the elections to be held in Maharajganj, some anti-social elements of Saran may use the internet to spread objectionable material or spread rumours.

In such a situation, there will be a ban on internet service till 8 pm. At the same time, the information coming from the sources is that it is possible that after the completion of elections in Maharajganj today, internet service may be restored in the city.

Let us tell you that earlier, in view of the elections to be held on Maharajganj seat in the sixth phase of Lok Sabha elections, earlier the period of this ban was extended till 5 am on May 25. According to the departmental order, this action has been taken on the report of DM and SP of Saran.
