Shimla.Cabinet expansion, which has been pending for a year, is now going to happen in Himachal Pradesh. Rajesh Dharmani from Bilaspur district is slated to secure a position in the cabinet. The expansion, set to take place on Tuesday afternoon, has initially revealed information about filling two posts, though uncertainty lingers regarding whether CM Sukhu will appoint a second candidate.
The swearing-in ceremony is scheduled to occur at Raj Bhavan in Shimla on Tuesday afternoon, as conveyed by CM Sukhu, according to sources. MLA Rajesh Dharmani has officially confirmed his ministerial post and stated that the swearing-in ceremony will transpire in Shimla during the afternoon.
Rajesh Dharmani has been elected MLA for the third time from Ghumarwin assembly seat of Bilaspur. He is known to be close to CM Sukhu. Besides, he is a leader with a clean image. After becoming MLA, he also returned his PSO and said that he did not need any security.
There is doubt as to who will get appointment to the second vacant post in the cabinet. Yadvinder Goma’s name is also being considered as the second minister. According to sources, the CM had called Goma last evening. But there has been no talk regarding the oath.
