Himachal: Cloud burst in Kullu-Chamba, 5 houses washed away

Chamba. A big news has come out from Himachal Pradesh. Cloud burst in Kullu and Chamba on Tuesday. There was no loss of any kind in both the incidents. But in Kullu, 5 houses have been washed away in the river.

Along with this, 15 houses have suffered partial damage. At the same time, in Chamba, initial information has revealed that 10 to 15 people are trapped on the spot. However, it is being told that all are safe.

According to the information, the Gadsa Valley of Kullu got cloud burst on Tuesday. Kullu DC Ashutosh Garg said that 5 houses were damaged and 15 houses were partially damaged due to cloudburst in Gadsa Valley.

The footbridge over Gadsa Khad has been washed away and communication with the village has been cut off. The Bhuntar-Gadsa Maniyar road has been damaged at many places and traffic has come to a standstill.

Many cattle have also been washed away in the flood. The team of the Revenue Department has left for the spot and the damage caused by the flood will be assessed.
