Shimla. Even before the entry of monsoon in Himachal Pradesh, the weather has shown its fierce form. It has rained heavily in many areas here. In Mandi district, it rained heavily for about 5 hours in the night and the potholes of the subdivision came in spate.
Due to the spate of Sonkhad in Dharampur, water has reached close to the bridge in Kadhapatan. Here the banks of Kandhapatan have become overflowing and water had reached even near the temple. However, it is a matter of relief that now the rain has stopped.
In Shimla, 5 vehicles got buried due to debris falling on the vehicles parked on the roadside near Dingi Bawdi in Sanjauli. This incident has happened due to the debris of the tunnel being built along with the Dhali tunnel coming down.
According to the information, it has rained in Dharampur and surrounding areas of Mandi from 1 pm on Friday till 5 am on Saturday. Due to heavy rains, the Chah-Utlifald-Mandap road has been closed due to landslide.
On the other hand, the Sonkhadd found in the Beas river has shown a fierce form. This ravine is in spate and its water level has reached close to the Kandhapatan bridge. However, now the rain has stopped.
Heavy rain in Bilaspur on Friday: On Friday, rain water came on Dadhol-Bharadi-Ladour road on Hamirpur-Bilaspur border. The water of Rohal Khad started flowing over the Lada bridge and due to this an Alto car parked on the bank fell into the drain.
