Palghar: A murder incident like the Shraddha Walker murder case has come to the fore from Mumbai. In Palghar’s Tulinj area, a young man killed his girlfriend and hid her dead body inside the bed. The accused youth has been arrested by the police.
According to the police, there used to be a lot of quarrels between the young man and his girlfriend. After such a mutual dispute, in a fit of rage, the accused killed the girl and hid her body in the bed box of his room. The accused was caught by Railway Protection Force personnel from a train at Nagda in Madhya Pradesh.
Giving information to the media, senior police inspector of Tulinj police station, Shailendra Nagarkar said, ‘A murder case has been registered in our police station. Megha (37), a nurse by profession, was found dead in her rented house in Tulinj area on Monday after foul smell started coming from inside and the neighbors informed the police.
His body was found wrapped in a mattress inside the bed. He is suspected to have been murdered sometime last week. The accused has been caught. He told during interrogation that he and the girl used to live in Tulinj. There used to be fights between the two.
According to the accused, he was unemployed and had frequent quarrels with his live-in partner over this matter. The young man had also messaged his sister about the murder and sold all the furniture before leaving the house. The Tulinj police have registered a murder case against the accused under section 302 of the Indian Penal Code.
