Gangtok: The incident of school bus overturning has come to light from Sikkim district. At least 26 people, including 23 students, were injured when a school bus overturned here on Thursday. Police gave this information.
The bus overturned accident took place at Singbel, on the outskirts of Makha in East Sikkim district, about 40 km from the state capital Gangtok.
According to the information received from the police, out of 26 people, 23 were students, one driver and two employees of the school. Police said that the injured were provided immediate treatment.
He told that 12 seriously injured people have been taken to STNM Multispeciality Hospital in Gangtok. Police said the other injured are at Singtam Hospital, where they are undergoing treatment.
