New Delhi. On a petition related to the scientific survey of the alleged Shivling found in the Gyanvapi campus of Varanasi, the Supreme Court said on Thursday that it would hear the matter on May 19.
In fact, on May 12, the Allahabad High Court, setting aside the order of the District Judge of Varanasi in the Kashi Vishwanath Gyanvapi Masjid dispute case, ordered to proceed with the process of determining the age of the alleged Shivling on the basis of modern methods.
Justice Arvind Kumar Mishra passed this order on a revision petition challenging the order passed by the District Judge of Varanasi on October 14, 2022. This petition was filed by Lakshmi Devi and three others.
