Mumbai: Actress Rhea Chakraborty, accused in the drugs case related to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, has got not one but two reliefs from the court. On Rhea Chakraborty’s first petition, the court has allowed her to travel abroad for a short holiday in Thailand with her family.
The court has also allowed him to go to Sri Lanka to participate in the Holi festival program.Let us tell you that Holi will be celebrated at the end of this month. Judge KP Kshirsagar of the special court hearing cases related to the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act accepted his plea. The court also allowed a similar application filed by her brother and co-accused in the case, Showik Chakraborty.
Rhea Chakraborty was arrested in the case in September 2020 and was granted bail by the Bombay High Court about a month after her arrest. Apart from Riya, her brother Shovik and many others are accused in this case. Most of them are currently on bail.Rajput, 34, was found hanging in his apartment in Bandra on June 14, 2020.
After Rajput’s parents filed a case against Rhea for alleged abetment of suicide, a parallel investigation into her alleged drug procurement also began. Riya has denied the allegations on several occasions.
