During this, the police also detained many people and imposed Section 144 on the Protest site. Farmers’ organizations were also reported to have arrived at Jantar Mantar, after which the police have placed barricades on the routes leading to Central Delhi.

Checking is being done by installing barricades in many areas of Delhi’s Vikas Marg, Nizamuddin, Akshardham, Dhaula Kuan, North Delhi, due to which long jams are being seen on the roads. If you are also going to pass through these routes today, then metro can be a good option, whereas due to waterlogging after the rains, the speed of vehicles on the roads of Delhi is slow.

Bajrang Punia said that the police are beating us, abusing us, misbehaving with women wrestlers but they are not taking any action against Brij Bhushan. People present on the spot say that folded beds were brought for the wrestlers protesting for their demands so that they could avoid the rain.

When it was time to take these beds to the picket site, the Delhi Police personnel took objection and stopped them. Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party MLA Somnath Bharti has said that the Delhi Police has misbehaved with the wrestlers and such an attitude is absolutely wrong.
