New Delhi. A case of serious lapse in the security of the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi has come to light. Two people succeeded in trying to enter the house of Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena by falsely pretending to be IAS and personal assistant of an MP.
Delhi Police said that two people have been arrested for entering the residence of Delhi LG VK Saxena by posing as an Indian Administration officer and personal assistant of an MP.One of the arrested accused is a resident of Odisha.
One of the two introduced himself as an IAS officer, while the other introduced himself as the MP’s PA.According to the police, about a week ago, Odisha resident Abhimanyu Sethi along with his friend Abhishek had reached the residence of LG Saxena.
Police said that at the entry gate of the Lieutenant Governor’s house, Abhimanyu introduced himself as an IAS officer, while Abhishek introduced himself as the personal assistant of an MP.Police said that after entering the LG’s house, both the accused met the staff present there. However, the staff immediately realized that he was lying and informed the Delhi Police.
Police said that no criminal record has been found against these two so far. But he tried to enter LG’s house by making a fake disguise, so the police arrested him. Police said that a case has been registered against them under section 419. Further investigation of this matter is going on.
