Baberu: A speeding Bolero rammed into a truck parked on the beach road at around 9.30 pm on Thursday night near Pariyadai on Kamasin Road in Baberu Kotwali of Banda district. Six people aboard the Bolero died on the spot in the accident. While two people were seriously injured.
Police has sent the injured to CHC by ambulance. The condition of the injured is said to be critical. Those who have been referred to the district hospital.Kallu (13) son Gujji, a resident of Tiloutha village of Kamasin police station area, got electrocuted at around quarter to nine in the night. Taking Kallu, mother Sarbano (38) hurriedly left from Bolero for Baberu CHC.
Eight people including Mohalla resident Kaif (16) son Chikki, Bolero driver Hasim (35), Zahid (35), Jahil (30) son Ajmat, Sakir son Nasir were traveling with him in Bolero. It is being told that on the way, Baberu rammed into a truck parked on Bolero Beach Road near Pariyadai on Kamasin Road in Kotwali area.
After the accident, the driver fled along with the truck. The Bolero was damaged due to the forceful collision. Due to this, all the people including the driver sitting on the front seat were injured. Hearing the screams, passers-by informed the police about the accident.
CO Rakesh Kumar Singh and Kotwal Sandeep Singh reached the spot. The people trapped in the Bolero were somehow pulled out. Kallu, his mother Sarbano, Kaif, Musahid, Sakir and one other died in the accident. While the seriously injured have been sent to the CHC by ambulance. From where the condition of Zahid and Jahil was critical, they were referred to the district hospital.
