New Delhi: Along with the country’s capital Delhi, people are troubled by the scorching heat and humidity in North India, especially in UP and Bihar. Although a little drizzle was giving relief in between.
But now the torrential rains are going to give relief from the heat to North India. On Thursday, the monsoon progressed in some other states including Bihar, Telangana. Amidst the scorching heat, people were waiting for the monsoon for a long time.
Giving news of relief, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has said that the heatwave has ended from all over the country. The weather forecast also states that there will be very heavy rains over Coastal Karnataka till June 26 and over Interior Karnataka on June 25 and 26.
IMD has said that moderate rain and thundershowers are likely to continue over Northeast India, Central India, West Coast and Western Himalayan region till June 28-30.
The Meteorological Department has said that conditions are favorable for further advance of Southwest Monsoon into some more parts of South Peninsular India.
Rain is likely over remaining parts of Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand and Bihar and parts of Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh during next 2 days.
