Varanasi. Survey of Gyanvapi Masjid is going on by ASI in Uttar Pradesh. Today i.e. Monday is the fourth day of the survey. This survey will start from 10.30 am.
Hindu side’s lawyer Sudhir Tripathi told that the survey work is going on on Monday as well. The Anjuman Arrangements Committee is also cooperating in the survey. There may be a slight delay in starting the survey, because today is the fifth Monday of the month of Sawan.
At the same time, Nandan Chaturvedi, another lawyer from the Hindu side, said that the survey is being done in a systematic and scientific manner. It will take some time and after the completion of the survey, the report will be submitted to the court.
Earlier on Sunday, a survey of the three domes inside the mosque has been done, so that it can be decided whether this mosque was built in the 17th century on top of the structure of a Hindu temple.
Ahmed Yasin, Joint Secretary of Anjuman Intejamia Masjid, said that people from the Hindu side are spreading lies and rumors that idols of Hindu deities have been found inside the temple. Rumors are being spread even before the survey is done.
He also targeted some media and said that the media is also lying that trident and urn were found in the basement of the mosque in the survey on Saturday.
He said that if these things and works are not stopped and these things continue like this, then the Muslim side will boycott the survey. Let us inform that this survey started on Friday following the orders of the Allahabad High Court.
