Varanasi. News of a tragic accident has come to light from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. Eight people died in a horrific road accident that took place around 7 am on Wednesday morning in Varanasi, while a 3-year-old innocent child was seriously injured.
The innocent child has been admitted to the hospital, where doctors are trying to save his life. This road accident happened in Karkhiyav of Phulpur police station when a speeding Ertiga car collided with a truck.
Police reached the spot after receiving information about the accident and took all the bodies to the hospital for postmortem and their families have been informed. All eight people in the car died, except a three-year-old child.
It is being told that all the victims were residents of Pilibhit. After visiting Kashi on Wednesday morning, everyone was going from Banaras to Jaunpur, when this accident happened near Karkhiyav of Phulpur police station. At present the police is busy investigating the accident.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives in the road accident in Varanasi district. Wishing peace to the departed soul, the Chief Minister has expressed condolences to the bereaved family.
The Chief Minister has instructed the district administration officials to immediately take the injured to the hospital and provide him proper treatment. Also wished for speedy recovery.
