Varanasi. A big news has come out from Purvanchal of Uttar Pradesh. In the famous Awadhesh Rai murder case, Mukhtar Ansari has been convicted after 32 years in Varanasi’s MP MLA court. Ansari will be sentenced in the case at 2 pm.
In Purvanchal, the trial of the Awadhesh Rai murder case was going on in the MP MLA court of Varanasi. Mukhtar Ansari and former MLA Abdul Kalam were named in this case.
On 3 August 1991, Ajay Rai’s brother Awadhesh Rai was murdered in front of his house, in which Mukhtar Ansari and Abdul Kalam were named. Mukhtar has been convicted today after 32 years of fighting.
Now the punishment of the culprits will be announced in the MP MLA court of Varanasi after around 2:00 pm. Ajay Rai was the main witness in the incident. He had received death threats several times.
But he remained firm on the path of justice. His entire family was shattered in the murder case. Ajay fought a long battle for his brother. In the lower court, advocate Nityanand Rai told the media after the court’s decision that Mukhtar Ansari has been convicted by the court today.
This day has come after 32 years. Mukhtar Ansari appeared in the court on Monday through video conference. In this case, there is a provision of minimum life imprisonment and maximum death sentence. However, the sentence will be decided only after two o’clock.
