New Delhi. Australia defeated the Indian cricket team by 6 wickets in the final of the World Cup 2023 and shattered its dream of becoming champion for the third time. Rohit Sharma and company completely disintegrated in the title match.

Team India, which had booked the final ticket after winning 10 consecutive matches, had to face defeat for the first time in this World Cup. Australia proved to be inferior to host India in every department. After the defeat, Team India’s fast bowler Mohammad Siraj had tears in his eyes.

Fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah was seen consoling his partner Siraj. Glenn Maxwell ran on the last ball of Mohammad Siraj’s over and took two runs, giving Australia a memorable victory. After this, tears started dripping from Siraj’s eyes.

After Bumrah, other players including Virat Kohli also started consoling him. This emotional video of Siraj is viral on social media. In the final, Siraj took one wicket for 45 runs in 7 overs.
