New Delhi. In the next 24 hours, the Meteorological Department has predicted rain in a total of 24 states of India. Torrential rains are expected in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh.
Monsoon is currently on the decline in the country. In such a situation, there is no hope of heavy rain at any other place. Although the Meteorological Department says that for the next four to five days, the rainy season will continue in many areas of the country including the Northeast.
According to the Meteorological Department, it is certain to rain at some places in Sikkim, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Andaman and Nicobar Islands during the next 24 hours. There may be light to moderate rain here.
On the same lines, the rainy season will continue in the North-East from 16 to 20 August. Areas of Vidarbha including Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh may receive rain from 17 to 20 August.
